Hola, I’m Winston Tortajada.

I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on February 29th, 1972.

I graduated from the International Business School at Guadalajara University. While at college, I participated in several exchange programs in Indiana, Washington DC, and Israel.

Right after college I started working for Mexican Customs as an International Department Supervisor in the City’s International Airport.

Left customs in order to start a ten year career with Yellow Transportation, where I was hired as an operations supervisor. Got promoted to sales and to terminal manager before my first year with the company.

Transferred to San Luis Potosi, served the central region of the country for four years, returning then to run Yellow’s biggest facility in Mexico:  Guadalajara and the four states western region.

In 2004, after the acquisition of Roadway Express by Yellow Corporation, I was made general manager for both companies, and received the additional responsibility of the Nogales gateway terminal, covering the entire pacific route.

My ongoing experience with Mexican Customs rules and regulations, and as manager of the nations largest trucking company, has given me vast experience in the  business of international shipping. You can count on me giving you straightforward  knowledgeable answers  to your questions on international moving.

I am fully bilingual, knowing the best of both worlds, and I also have a great service oriented attitude and a very professional background, along with almost fifteen years of experience in this field.

The business was started by its previous owners in April 2003 after listening to friends and neighbors complain about the high cost of moving to Mexico and they decided they had to do something to help. They sympathized with the people coming to Mexico to stretch their retirement dollars, and wanted to offer a low-cost moving alternative to those folks. Because of their experience in shipping, they knew exactly how to accomplish an effortless move to or from Mexico. 

Our promise to our clients has been a simple one. We will help people move to or from Mexico for the least amount of money in the easiest way possible. We slashed prices, forced competition where there was none, and offer the best service and rates in the area.
